WHO ARE WE?

We're a community Church, the result of a merger between St Theodore's Wattle Park and St Michael's Bennettswood. We serve the communities of Surrey Hills, Box Hill South and Burwood, (parts of these at least)in Melbourne, Australia as well as the surrounding suburbs of Box Hill, Mt Waverley, Camberwell and Mont Albert. Our tradition is reformed evangelical and Anglican.We have a Cantonese speaking congregation. We try to cater for the needs of a wide variety of ages and interests among our worshippers. Our desire is to see people come into the community of God's people where they will find comfort and support, nourishment and encouragement.

WHAT DO WE DO?

Our Sunday worship times are

8:30am at 44 Station St, Burwood, a traditional Anglican worship service, normally Communion,

10am at 107 Broughton Rd, Surrey Hills, which is more contemporary, aimed at the full age range of the congregation,

11:30am Cantonese Service at 44 Station St

and 6pm at both centres (Broughton Rd: Teen/young adults focus; Station St: non-English speaker focus)

We publish a quarterly preaching program so people can prepare for the week's sermon. Most of these sermons are available on tape or CD. ($5 plus $3 postage within Australia. See the tape index) Just email an order and we'll invoice you for the cost.

We run a Playgroup on a Thursday morning from 9:30-11:30 in the hall. Anyone with pre-school children is welcome to attend.

We run weekly Bible Studies and Prayer meetings.

We have two Men's Group that meet once a month on the third Monday night and once a month on the Second Tuesday for Breakfast at 8:30am.

We also run regular social activities of a variety of types to encourage a sense of community among our members. (see our Calendar of Events or the calendar below )
